Great little shop, lots of fresh produce. Good cheese. Meats for days! I’m a chicory lover and they got that too!

If I find myself filing for bankruptcy someday, it's a safe bet that Bi-Rite would be partially responsible. That's because I want to buy everything here, and that's because nearly everything is incredible here, both thoughtfully sourced and impeccably made, from fresh fruits and vegetables, to their meats, seafood, cheeses, and prepared dishes. Sandwiches are to die for, with my current favorites being the hot Roast Beef Sandwich and the Vegan Hippie Sandwich, but liable to change when the mood hits. The desserts, from their line-out-the-door famous ice cream to their sweet concoctions-in-a-jar, are also fabulous, with my runaway favorite being the strawberry marscapone pretzel dessert. You can’t go wrong with the prepared food options either, from their delicious salads to their unerringly fantastic empanadas. The ONLY problem with Bi-Rite, as I alluded to in the beginning, is the wallet-burning price. Wowza it is expensive... but you absolutely get your money's worth! My advice is to go elsewhere for the basics (e.g. eggs, tortillas, pasta), and come here for prepared foods or anything that needs high quality.

Today was my first experience at Bi-Rite. I happened upon it, and popped in for a look around. The deli case is stunning, and I felt confident that everything would taste as good as it looks. I bought a sandwich (The Lone Mountain), and it was truly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. Fresh warm focaccia, plentiful fixings. A delight to eat! I’ll surely return.

Really lovely market, their cheese selection is amazing and I love seeing where all the produce are from in local areas. The ice cream is honestly the best I’ve had and they have really interesting seasonal flavors that you wouldn’t expect. And the lines are way shorter here than the actual creamery!

This is a great grocery store with a lot of good bites. I come here often, my favorites include the avocado, chicken salad, and the sandwiches. However… I was so upset when I found out that the roasted banana ice cream is not a year-round flavor. I’ve never been transcended into deeper happiness unless eating this ice cream please make it year-round I beg.

Stumbled upon this spot during our date night last Friday. My wife wanted to peruse the store for a bit and I agreed lol. What we noticed right away is that it is a small market with a big impact. It is an "Everybody is welcome" type of spot and they ensure all that ensure all that enters knows. They have all types of signs and flags up. While we were here the Mrs. wanted a few items. She got a hugh beef meatball, cauliflower salad and Kumbuchi (She never had this and really wanted to try it). We met Cristina who is the in the pics (Deli/kitchen assistant manager. She explained too us that we could taste anything in the deli that we wanted to. She also stated that she tasted tests all the food in the morning prior to it going out to ensure that it is made just right. She told us that part of their missing statement is "We feed and we are fed!". We both love that. Overall, we both felt this was a cute market and we really loved the whole vibe that it gives. Very very community based.
